About Us

Locally-owned, Independent Veterinary Practice

Countryside Veterinary Services is a locally owned and independent veterinary practice specializing in Small and Large Animal Services. We are founded by a veterinarian (DVM) and managed by DVMs with 30+ years of experience and excellence. Our practice provides comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care to all our patients, no matter their size. Treating multiple species gives us unique perspectives and insights that differentiate our treatment and care options. For example, an equine solution can provide insight into a challenging canine problem.

Our Covington, Georgia facility includes an in-hospital surgery suite, an in-house digital x-ray for large and small animals, an on-location laboratory handling a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures, a well-stocked pharmacy, a closely supervised hospitalization area, and indoor boarding kennels with outdoor walking areas.

We also have four mobile equine veterinary units which bring advanced on-farm services to our patients where you and your horse are.

We succeed when you leave each appointment knowing your beloved family member received state of the art medical care, within your means and you felt how much we sincerely care about you and your pet!

Independent Advantage

Being independently owned gives us the freedom to prioritize the care, advice, and treatment options we feel are in the best interest of our patient. We can move quickly to obtain state of the art technology. We can find innovative solutions, recommend preventative options all with transparency. Our sole focus is your animals and not on profits and stock market value you see with the corporate consolidation trend of veterinary practices today.

Join the best practice

At Countryside, we believe in providing career opportunities that are intellectually, emotionally, and financially fulfilling. With the veterinary industry becoming more consolidated and corporate, we’re determined to stay independent and give our team members the autonomy to deliver the care they see is in the best interest of the animal.

We value our clients, we value our team and we’d welcome the opportunity to meet with you.
