Accidents happen, and in the case of an emergency, it’s vital that you call a vet who can provide your horse with the best care. At Countryside Veterinary Services in Covington, we understand that accidents and emergencies don’t always happen within working hours, which is why we have equine veterinarians on call 24/7 to assist with any after-hour emergencies that you may have.

In An Emergency

A medical emergency is something all horse owners dread and can be quite overwhelming. Until we arrive, do your best to remain calm. It is the best thing you can do to reassure and settle your distressed horse.

It is also always a good idea to have our number posted in your barn in case there is an emergency and you are not around.
