DIY Catnip Toys Your Feline Friend Will Love!

In March for "Respect Your Cat Day", Kris and Kasey from our marketing team made DIY catnip toys to give away to our feline clients!   They were a huge hit, so we are making a new batch for kitties who come in for appointments on "National Take Your Cat to the Vet Day". If your kitty can't make it in on August 22nd, we'll try to have left overs this time.

Here is how we made them:

In March for "Respect Your Cat Day", Kris and Kasey from our marketing team made DIY catnip toys to give away to our feline clients!   They were a huge hit, so we are making a new batch for kitties who come in for appointments on August 22nd, "National Take Your Cat to the Vet Day".

If your kitty can't make it in on August 22nd, we'll try to have left overs this time. And here is how we made them:

Bags and patches

We started by designing iron-on patches and adhering them to 4x6 burlap jewelry bags we purchased at Amazon.

Frontier catnip is the best and organic

Next we did a lot of research and chose Frontier Co-op Catnip. It is organic and member-owned since 1976.

Testing catnip

Then we added some paper, a bell, sewed them up and set about testing them with our feline focus group.
