Administering treatment for eye trauma can be challenging and painful. Pictured is an SPL (subpalpebral lavage) system which is used to deliver medications directly into the eye area. A "bubble mask" is also used to further protect the eye.
Management of serious eye problems often require multiple treatments per day and may extend for several weeks. |
