DESCRIPTION Countryside Veterinary Services is currently seeking a part-time and full-time kennel assistant. We are searching for a highly motivated individual who loves providing top of the line care to our small animal patients. The kennel assistant will provide individualized attention to our patients while performing the general upkeep of their areas.
Other major duties include but are not limited to:
Observing (signs of illness or distress), feeding and exercising patients.
Cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining kennels and hospital areas.
Wash, dry and fold laundry.
A minimum of 1 year of animal handling experience required.
A strong love for animals and the ability to anticipate their needs is necessary for this job.
High school diploma or GED.
SMALL ANIMAL VETERINARY ASSISTANT / REGISTERED TECHNICIAN

We are a full service veterinary practice that believes in providing the best in care for our patients. Our diagnostics tools include in-house blood machines, digital x-rays, dental x-rays, and ultrasound. Currently we are searching for a highly motivated team player, with the desire to join a progressive practice that is committed to excellence in patient care and client experience. Qualified candidates must be compassionate, reliable and thrive in a fast paced environment.
OTHER MAJOR DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: · Provide safe restraint for patients. · Assist in surgeries and advanced diagnostic imaging procedures. · Maintain accurate client / patient records. · Run lab work. · Administer medications to patients. · Properly monitor patients, noticing and documenting any changes. · Cleaning cages, feeding and watering animals. · Provide excellent customer service and appropriately address client concerns.
REQUIREMENTS · A minimum of 1 year of animal handling experience required. · Registered veterinary technician preferred but not required. · Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. · Comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes. · Weekend and evening availability · High school diploma or GED.
