DESCRIPTION: Countryside Veterinary Services is currently seeking a full-time receptionist for our equine services team. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills to be the first point of contact for the Countryside team. The equine receptionist must be a problem solver who has the ability to map out and schedule all in-house and farm call appointments for the equine veterinarians. Basic knowledge of equine services and emergencies is a must. Candidates should be personable, compassionate, reliable and thrive in a fast paced environment. Qualified candidates must also be able to multi-task and communicate effectively with team members and clients.
A minimum of 1 year experience with customer service OR experience in the veterinary field.
Strong computer and organizational skills.
Basic knowledge of equine care and experience with Impromed software is a plus.
This position is Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM).
License in good standing in the state of Georgia.
At least 2 years of experience as a practicing veterinarian preferred, but not required.
Experience in Lameness and sport-horse medicine a plus.
