What is veterinary acupuncture?
Acupuncture is used to stimulate specific points on the body to promote healing. This traditional Oriental medicine has a rich history, it's actually one of the oldest recorded medical procedures. For thousands of years, acupuncture has healing and improve quality of life for both people and animals. During an acupuncture treatment, very thin, specialized needles are placed into specific points on the pet's body. This process stimulates natural healing by releasing chemicals in the muscles, spinal cord and brain.

Typically, acupuncture will produce a tingling or “heavy” sensation at the acupoint.
accupuncture treatments are usually necessary for chronic medical conditions.
